This is an animated fantasy adventure in which Yats and his Famous New Orleans Jazzland Band is scheduled to play at a club they’ve waited their whole life to play, the world-famous ZATS NEW ORLEANS JAZZ CLUB, where all the great jazz musicians have played before them. Suddenly, a storm appears out of nowhere and whisks Yats and his bandmates through the night into an impenetrable part of the Manchac Swamp.
There, Yats discovers Dixie the fiddle playing Cajun pixie, a fairy princess and the daughter of Queen Carnival, the ruler over all of the swamps and bayous of Louisiana. Dixie assists Yats and his bandmates on their adventure to return home to Mama Lea and rebuild the city of New Orleans.
